  The truth is subjective and the news plays out differently depending on who's telling it and where you hear it. There's an old saying along the lines of "believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see" which also could be coupled with "caveat emptor" (let the buyer beware). What we're trying to say is use your discretion when accepting anything that's passes itself off as news. If in doubt check the sources and always let the best filter be your own good judgement. But we also think that "where there's smoke there's fire" so don't be too quick to discount something because it goes against everything you've been brought up to believe. Democratic politicians, dictators, big business and religious leaders like nothing better than followers who blindly believe everything they say!
