Thoughts for Change - The Facts

The dire warning issued by 1,300 leading scientists that "Planet Earth stands on the cusp of disaster and people should no longer take it for granted that their children and grandchildren will survive in the environmentally degraded world of the twenty-first century" it seems needs to be taken a lot more serious than has happened up until now.

There are increasing signs that worldwide environmental degradation has in fact crossed a threshold point were there will be a negative feedback loop.

Here are a few more concerned voices, none of which from a mainstream U.S. newspaper:
